My Special Treat

Last night we were at dinner at Berryhill Baja, a local restaurant.  One of their things they do is free soft serve ice cream after your meal.  Unfortunately we have found through all of the testing of my stomach one of my issues is lactose intolerance, so I can't have ice cream any more.  I was sitting there with Jon and the kids all enjoying their after dinner treat and Addie came up to me and said, "Mommy I have an even better treat for you."  She then leaned over and gave me a great big hug.  It was so precious and it really was the best treat I could have gotten.

Capturing a Moment

I love family pictures, and our family is a little crazy and can be hard to capture on film.
This picture is exactly what I hoped we would get from this photo shoot.

These pictures were captured by Kimberly Lloyd and I am so happy with how they turned out.
I found Kimberly through a friend on Facebook.
I love the images Kimberly was able to capture of all of us.
Kimberly was great with the kids, she asked questions before we ever met, she brought bubbles for the kids, and she was so patient during the shoot.
I love this picture above, it captures some of the truest expressions of our kids.
This picture makes me smile every time I see it.

If you live in the Spring/Tomball area and need a photographer I would definitely recommend Kimberly.

Just Like Me

I love it when my kids match.  If you have been reading this blog for very long you have probably seen quite a few matching outfits and I love every one of them.  Lately Ben has been wearing a white t shirt so he can look just like Daddy, they even have a song.  Garrett is getitng old enough that he too is sporting the white undershirt look.  We were getting ready for pictures last night (sneak peaks are on Facebook) and I had both boys in their shirts and I thought they looked so cute.

Matching pajamas are fun too, even Jon loves to see the kids in matching pjs.  When I found this set of pajamas at Gymboree a couple of weeks ago I was thrilled. They had all the sizes I needed and they were on sale, only $4.50 a set!  All the kids were walking around calling each other 'Cool Cats' last night.  When we all got up this morning I ended up with all three pajama clad kiddos sitting in my lap.  It didn't last long enough for a picture, but I felt like the luckiest momma in the world to have my three snuggly kiddos to wake up to.

Corn on the Cob

We had corn on the cob for the first time this week.  Corn on the cob is one of those foods that really make me think of summer time.  The kids LOVE corn and they were happy to cheese for some pictures.

And just for fun, a picture of me when I was little.
